1. Scope and operator
CareerFlow Personal is a private job application management tool operated by Benjamin Strobel. This public website describes the tool and its data practices; it is not a login page or an interface to the private application.
2. Data accessed
When Gmail access is authorized, CareerFlow requests the Google OAuth https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly scope. It may read email sender and recipient information, subject lines, timestamps, message identifiers, thread identifiers and relevant message text, to identify recruitment correspondence and link it with job application records. Application records may also include company names, job titles, follow-up dates and related notes entered by the owner.
This permission does not grant CareerFlow the ability to send, delete or modify messages in Gmail. Access to Google Calendar is not part of this Gmail OAuth authorization.
3. Use of data
Google user data is used to support personal application tracking, record recruitment interactions, suggest follow-up tasks, and distinguish replies from automated acknowledgements. The system may prepare suggestions for the owner to review; it is not intended to automatically send recruiting messages through the Gmail read-only authorization.
Data obtained through Google APIs is used in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. It is not sold or used for personalized advertising.
4. Storage, access and third parties
CareerFlow application records are stored in a private, access-controlled environment operated by the owner. The public information pages are hosted separately and do not publish Gmail messages or job application records. OAuth credentials are not embedded in this website.
Google provides the Gmail API connection. Separately configured assistants or external services may be used by the operator for specific tasks; any disclosure of Google account data to such services must be limited to what is necessary and permitted by Google's applicable data-use rules. This policy should be updated before introducing a new sharing or processing practice.
5. Retention and deletion
Recruitment data is kept while it is useful for the owner's application tracking and may be deleted by the owner. The owner can revoke the application's access from Google Account permissions. Revoking access prevents further authorized Gmail retrieval but does not automatically erase data already imported into CareerFlow.

6. Security
CareerFlow's private services are intended to use restricted access and private networking. The public website does not accept Gmail credentials and does not expose private CRM data. No website analytics, advertising scripts or tracking cookies are included in these public pages.
